I'll never understand why they stopped taking credit cards.

Ok, actually I do. Too many of their customers will happily hand over their checking account information, because they don't understand there is ZERO protection compared to a credit card. Planet Fitness can screw customers with the yearly fee, and the customers won't be able to easily dispute it like they could when using their credit card.

Just because you can take advantage of your customers, doesn't mean that you should.
